As part of our ongoing efforts to increase your security and protect you from fraud, we have implemented the 3D Secure authentication scheme for all Expend cards.
3D Secure (3-domain secure) is a security protocol to prevent fraud in online transactions made with credit and debit cards. It adds an extra layer of security by allowing you to create and assign a password to your card, that is then verified whenever you make online transactions with supported merchants.
When you make an online payment with your Expend card, you’ll see a 3D secure form to complete. The form looks like this:
Important: On this form, please use your own mobile number, and the postcode of your main office address.
- Mobile Phone Number: Select the correct country code (i.e. UK 0044) followed by your mobile number without the first 0. For example, if your mobile number is 077 1234 5678, enter it as follows: 0044 (UK) 77 1234 5678
- Name on Card: This is the cardholder’s name. You can double-check this on the Cards page on the Expend dashboard.
- Postal Code: This is the same as the one for your company’s billing address – usually the company’s main address.
If you are unsure which details to use, please check your personal settings page on the Expend dashboard, where the details we have for you are displayed. To access this page, click the button in the upper-right corner and select Personal settings.
Please ensure all of your information is correct before submitting. If you submit incorrect information, the transaction will be denied and your card will be blocked. If this happens, please contact our support team by clicking the chat button in the lower-right corner on the dashboard, or via the in-app chat.
